A Week of Thanks: Wildcards!

A Week of Thanks: The Beginning
A Week of Thanks: Clean and Simple
Most of the cards I've made this week have been pretty straightforward and simple....which, while that is what my Grandma would like, it is totally NOT my typical style.  So, there's going to be a few "wildcard" cards mixed into the bulk of straightforward and simple cards.

The INKY

Materials Used:
  • Black, heritage red, white Card stock
  • Thanks Subway art by me (I colored some of the words)
  • Distress Ink: Vintage Photo
  • Red glitter glue
  • Random Adhesives

The BLINGY

And, the final card for the week is also my PERSONAL FAVORITE!   I printed the swirls along with the sentiment (because I didn't have a swirly stamp that I liked for this).  All of the swirls were the same color when printed, I added some glitter glue to some of the swirls which is what made the color a bit different.

Materials Used:
  • Lilac, black, white Card stock
  • "Thank defined" sentiment by me
  • Swirls photoshop brush by ObsidianDawn
  • Studio G Clear glitter glue
  • The Paper Studio self adhesive pearls
  • Random Adhesives

Today I'm Thankful for:
All of you!
I so appreciate your comments, encouragement, and friendships!

    1. LOL! I read this moments after publishing my post for this week's freebie - which happens to be BOTH of these sentiments! They will be available until Friday here on my blog, and after that, may make an appearance in the store as part of a "Thank You" sentiment pack that I'm working on.

  3. Swirls AND pearls....you certainly know how to deliver....and the colours are beautifully subtle. Has to be my favourite.
    Love the freebies, too.
Your grandma is a lucky lady!

  4. Fabulous cards!!!! The subway art is so bold and will get anyone's attention in a big way. The "Thanks Defined" is beautiful. Love how you placed the pearls to follow the swirls on the paper.
