PS. My grandson, Matthew, is going to be going in for his 6th and FINAL (fingers crossed!) chemo treatment in a couple weeks, and I want to do something special for him, but am at a loss for ideas. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much!

Hi Sara, thank you so much for this. Beautiful sentiment.
ReplyDeleteMany thoughts and prayers for Matthew. What about making a little box and filling it with some of his most favourite things and of course, adding that very special handmade card from you? I haven't read his story and I don't have FB, but knowing it's chemo, my heart goes out to you and your family.

Oh Sara, I just found his story. That is so scary for such a young little boy. It brought tears to my eyes. Sounds like he's a little trooper and he's a handsome little one. HUGE hugs and many thoughts and prayers being sent!!

Thanks for the lovely sentiment, Sara. Matthew has been in our daily prayers since the very first time you mentioned his illness....his name is regularly taken to the temple, too.....those prayers will still be offered until he is completely well.
ReplyDeleteA little scrapbook might be a nice idea.....or, a coupon book, filled with "promises" for some special treats from his Grandma?
