Two of my granddaughters have birthdays this week. One is turning 16, and I wanted to make her a super special card. But her cards are a bit harder for me because she doesn't like the super girlie and pink (ummm....say what?). Plus as a teenager, what she DOES like changes ALL THE TIME!
I decided that a bit grungy and using the mustache trend (which she has been currently into) was the way to go. The way I made this card REALLY special though, was to draw a very special digi, just for her - of her!
Materials Used:
- Kraft, white, Card stock
- Colorbok Natural Expressions 6x6 paper pack
- Distress Ink: Tea Dye
- Digi by me
- Pocketwatch image from The Graphics Fairy
- Ticket: Freebie from 4/5/13
- Spare Parts brads
- Momenta metal tag
- Offray lace
- Rope King twine
- Random Adhesives
What a great job you made of this, Sara....and are you sure that's YOUR granddaughter? Actually looks a lot like mine, too, lol. You are so flippin' good at this, lady! x
