Decorative box

A while back I was quite excited to find a small wooden box at the dollar store.  I only bought one at the time (regret!  regret!  regret!) and have not seen them since.  So I was hoarding this box for something special.  I finally decided to alter it as a gift.  

I painted the box with acryllic paints then ModPodged papers from the Prima Nature Garden collection.  I used gloss Mod Podge, which gave the box an sheen.  

I then decorated the box using, a Zva pearl flourish, some Iamroses flowers, Offrray lace, and some Momenta metal pieces.

It's a perfect little place to store something fun.  

Happy Fourth of July to those in the US!  Be careful with those fireworks - it's pretty hot and dry out there.
