The Summer Rush

Oh. My Gosh.

Life has gotten crazy around here.  Our a/c is broken, we found out we are going to need to move, work, a new workout/diet obsession, the regular summertime "gotta do this, gotta do that" has just left me with no time in my craft room.  I'm literally throwing cards together minutes before they are supposed to be delivered - meaning I've had no time to photograph or blog them!  

In fact, I just looked and I totally forgot to blog my last DT card!  Shame on me!!!

Used: Lacey Sunshine image, Copic Markers, Distress Markers, Once Upon a Time mat stack by DCWV, stars are by Jolee's Boutique, and clear stickles. 

I had taken a photo - at work - of some headbands I had made to sell in our brick and mortar shop (we also do two different etsy shops: here and here), and had posted it to my facebook.  Well, I had a family member ask if I could make one for her granddaughter.  So, I sent her a headband I'd made, along with a card.   (The photo was taken with my phone, as I was getting ready to dash out the door to mail it!)

The papers on the card are Pebbles Americana, as well as die cuts from the collection.  The packaging for the headband is one of the die cuts and  Doodlebug Designs Patriotic Parade papers.  

I know I'm going to have to find some crafty time before to long, or I'm going to be in trouble come September when all the family birthdays start to happen!  Unfortunately, I think I'm going to be pretty spotty posting for a little while...at least until I get a few things straightened out around here.  Please stick around - I will be back!
