But First...

I'm back with another card for 613 Avenue Create!  Friday (Nov 21st) is World Hello Day, so this week our optional twist is to include a "Hello" (in any language) on your project.  I'm working with ""Girl Selfie" from one of our sponsors - Flat Friends - this week.


As soon as I saw this image, I knew I wanted to hashtag my hello!  And as I was coloring my image, I looked through my Facebook feed and was amazed at how many photos had a blown out center from the flash.  My warped sense of humor pretty much guaranteed that this had to be included in my card.  So the "flash" was created with a star burst cut from white card stock and vellum.


I used the Teresa Collins "Save the Date" paper pack, along with some kraft twine, and some nailhead stickers to create my card.

    OMGosh Sara - This cracks me up! Love the whole concept of the flash - and doing it with CS and Vellum was so creative! Having her out of the box and the #HELLO sentiment... love the twine and the brads on that great striped paper - another great design!!
