It's that time again! It's Challenge Time over at 613 Avenue Create! Tuesday, February 17th, is RAK (Random Act of Kindness) Day. So our optional twist this week is to create something as a little unexpected treat for someone.
The sponsor I got to work with this week is FaeryInk Designs. Oh. Em. Gee. Let me tell you, I am IN LOVE with these stamps. I had my image colored in, but hadn't even completed my card before I was over at the Etsy shop - which is being phased into to a stand alone website - getting a few more. (Meaning, open a new tab and check them out! Seriously. I will wait.)
You back? OK - on to my card! The digi I used is called "Autumn Rose and Arielle Besties". The stamp was colored in with Copics, and then the background was put in with Distress Markers and ink pads.
I used the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic paper pad, and some vellum on my card. The sentiment is from the Inside and Out Sayings set from Simon Says Stamp and was embossed in gold. The ribbon and pearls were from my stash.
The larger pink rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the rest of the flowers are from Michael's. I punched the leaves with a Martha Stewart Punch.
And, fitting with our optional twist this week, this card has already been sent out, and received, along with some "crafter's fuel" (aka - chocolate!). Be sure to stop on by 613 Avenue Create, and see the AMAZING creations by my fellow DT members!

Sara this card is beautiful! You do incredible work... I have been scrolling around and I love your sense of color and composition... and what I love most is that you don't "kitchen sink" the embellishments! Each is coordinated and appropriate without going over the top - well done toots!
