The card I have to share today, started out as a bit of playing with colored pencils. I liked the finished image so well, I had to make a card with her. The image I have used is "I Heart You" and she can be found in the "Buncha digis" bundle from Saturated Canary.
For the card, I used Authentique Classique: Pretty papers. I added a heat embossed sentiment using a stamp from Michael's. The black pearls are from Mark Richards, the wooden hearts from Kaisercraft, and the flowers are also from Michael's. The tulle is some I've had in my stash for some time...not sure where it came from, but its just plain white.
I'm including a photo of the pencils I used. My colored pencil collection is pretty eclectic. Half of these pencils are from a cheapy set at Walmart, and there are a few Crayolas mixed in there too. I used a white gel pen on the highlights in her eyes as well. For the background of my image, I used a couple of cool gray copics, some alcohol blending solution, and black soot distress ink.
