Watercolor Thanks

I've been playing with so many of the new holiday goodies - and I'm super excited to share with you what I've been making!  However, after so much red, and Christmas carols (for mood music!), I really wanted a brief break, back to something a bit more "August-y".

I decided to revisit this stamp set, to watercolor another set of these gorgeous flowers.  I stamped my image in Sahara Sand, so that the finished product would look fairly seamless.   Once I had finished my watercoloring, I coated all of the flowers with clear Wink of Stella.  I added the stamens to the bottom flower with my gel pen, and then coated that white ink with my gold Wink of Stella.

I had asked my fellow Inking Everything Teammates for some tips on photographing the glitter on the flowers.  The suggestion was to use a flashlight to highlight the sparkle that the WoS adds.
