While today's card would also be appropriate for an engagement, or wedding, I actually intend to use it for a baby card. The soft tones work perfectly to send as a congrats on the birth of an adorable baby girl.
I used a Whisper White Card base, and a Whisper White card front. I wanted a bit of depth, but I wanted it to be subtle, which is why I choose the tone on tone. I layered a strip of Sahara Sand card stock on the background, and added a die cut oval from the new Falling in Love DSP. I added another oval cut from vellum - that I heat embossed my sentiment onto - on top of that. Then I tied some linen thread around the card front.
I felt that the card needed a little something more, so I cut a flower shape from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, and cut that in half. I put one half on each the top and bottom of the oval piece. Then I glammed it up a bit more with some pearls. I really like how that little embellishment just seemed to make the card pop.
Thanks for stopping by!
Much love,

This is just beautiful, Sara! Those flower halves on the top and bottom of your oval is the perfect touch.
