I held my April Card Class this week. For this month, I wanted to do something a bit different. Making sympathy cards when you actually need them in no fun, so we made this gorgeous Sympathy & Comfort Set when we DIDN'T need it, so we'd have it on hand.
I loved the Night of Navy and Whisper White combo in the Floral Boutique papers. There is such a quite elegance to this paper stack. I combined it with the Flourishing Phrases Bundle (this bundle is retiring at the end of May - and features a LOT of great stamps and dies, so be sure to get it while it's still at the bundle price!).
To go along with our two cards, I created this pocket tissue box (tutorial coming soon!). This is a lovely way to gift a small pack of tissues. I think it would work well for a "get well soon" item as well.
We had a great time in class, and we had fun creating something that would normally be sad to make.
Those who attended my class this week, were able to get a sneak peek at my GIANT project that I'm working on for April. I'm just finishing it off - so hopefully it will be posted soon!
Thanks for stopping by!
Much love,
PS. Shop Stampin' Up with me! Use hostess code AMCX6ME2 for orders under $150, placed between now, and April 20th, for a chance to win a prize! If your order is over $150, do NOT use the code - you will receive hostess rewards as part of your order, as well as being entered in the drawing.
Sympathy cards are a great way to console anybody going through a hard time. I love the designs you made. I think the blue and white color scheme is lovely.
