I've mentioned before, that each week the FSJ team I am on, has a challenge in our Facebook group.  We alternate between a sketch or a color challenge.  My favorites always seem to be the color challenges, as I sometimes struggle with making a sketch my own.  However, last week, as I scrolled past the sketch a few times, an idea took hold that led to today's card.  

In the original sketch, there were two angle cut banners in the top corner, and the rectangle shape was a layered element.  Once I decided on using the Summer Branch die as my "banners", The rest of the card started to fall into place quite quickly.  Using a pierced rectangle for the rectangle element, and a staple to attach the branches adds a bit of quirky charm to this card.

I stamped the Bubble Gum rose base, then layered with Sweet Berry for the detail stamps.  The resulting image was just a little bright for me in the card I envisioned, so I used the base stamp once more, inked with Whip Cream Ink.   This toned down the whole image.  I stamped my sentiments with two different colors of ink.  A snippet of leaves left over from the trimmed branch die cut, some simple Sweet Blooms, and a couple of scattered pearls finished off the card.
