Leafy Thanks

One of the first ATS stamps I purchased, was the Branch ATS.  I loved simplicity of this stamp, and thought it would be a good stamp to create easy backgrounds, and pretty non-floral, floral cards.  (That make no sense!  But I'm betting you get it!)

For today's card, I wanted to pair some of my favorite aqua/teal tones, with a little springy green.

How to make this card: 

• Cut a panel of Blue Lagoon Card Stock to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8", a piece of Whip Cream Card Stock to 4" x  4-3/8", and a piece of Cool Pool Card Stock to 4" x 1-1/4"
• Stamp and heat emboss the sentiment in lower right corner (leaving a little more than 1/2" room beneath it)
• Stamp the Branch ATS around the perimeter of the Whip Cream panel in Sweet Pear, Cool Pool, and Blue Lagoon inks - cleaning the stamp between colors.  
• Adhere the Whip Cream panel at the top of the Blue Lagoon panel, with 1/16"  of the Blue Lagoon showing as a mat.  
• Emboss the Cool Pool Panel, and then adhere it to the bottom of the card front, leaving a 1/16" border of the Blue Lagoon showing.
• Die Cut the Summer Branch Die from Vellum, and then trim smaller pieces from the large die cut 
• Tie a know in a piece of organza ribbon - cut long enough to wrap around the card front, and adhere the ribbon on the back of the card front with dry adhesive.  Use craft glue to tuck the vellum leaves under the knot, and to attach the knot to the card front.
• Splatter some Sparkle Silk over the card front
• Attach the card front to a Whip Cream card base (4-1/4" x 5-1/2" =, Top folding)
