Happy Style

Sharing another card from the Inking Idaho on the Road display I made.  This card was super fun to create, with the watercolor splash background.

How I made it: I cut my piece of Color Splash paper, and soaked it with water.  Then I loaded up a brush with Cool Pool Splash and dabbed it against the paper, which I held vertically so the color would run down the paper.  I dabbed at the paper with a paper towel to absorb any excess color gathering at the bottom of the page.  I repeated this process with the Blue Lagoon splash until I liked the effect.  Then I allowed the background to dry totally.  I then stamped and heat embossed the back arrow, and stamped the other arrows onto a scrap piece of Whip Cream.  I colored in the top two arrows and fussy cut them out.  I laid the arrows out, and then stamped my sentiment, then removed the top arrows again to splatter the silks on the background.  Then I adhered the top arrows and rhinestones..  I attached the Color Splash panel to the Denim Days Mat, and then attached that to a Whip Cream card base.
