Make A Wish Birthday Card

Birthday cards are some of the most fun cards to make.  This week, I'll be sharing birthday & celebration cards with you.   Starting today with this super fun (and super pink!) birthday card.  

Today's card features the Make A Wish ATS stamp set, and the Graduated Dots stamp on this card.  As always, a full product list is at the bottom of this post.


I began the card front, by ink blending Bubble Gum and Sweet Berry inks up the piece of Bubble Gum Card Stock.  I made sure the ink was completely dry, then stamped the Graduated Dots stamp with Clear Embossing Ink, and applied a custom mix of 2 parts Clear Embossing Powder, and 1 part Sparkle Dust (the small container I store that in, shown in the video, was purchased from the dollar store).  I heat set the background stamp using my heat gun.    

I stamped and heat embossed the Make A Wish ATS stamp, using Rose Gold Embossing Powder, onto Whip Cream Card Stock.  I die cut that out with the Treat Label die set, and attached foam squares to the back.  I tied a piece of Bubble Gum Satin Ribbon around the card front, and tied it into a bow, before adhering the sentiment panel over that.  A few scattered pearls finished the card off.

This super glitzy card was fun to make, and my inner magpie loves the glitter.
