If you have been following me for a while, you will know my friend Becky. We did a fun challenge show called Assembled for a bit, and I've gone with her to numerous events over the last few years. She's been hard at work with a super special project, and if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you would have see the sneak peek post a couple of days ago.
Becky has partnered with Concord and 9th to create the CUTEST Everyday Purse Bundle This bundle features a stamp set with 10 stamps, and a die set with 16 dies, that you can use to create a unique and fun way to package gift cards, treats, and more.
The body of the purse is approximately 4.25" wide, and 2-7/8" tall, when assembled. The handle adds height to that, but can be adjusted by trimming some of the length You can create a 3D packaging, as the two purses on the outside in the photo above, or you can customize the die cut to create a flat card in the shape of a purse, or an element for a card, as shown above.
For this first purse, I used the Woven Stripes Background Stamp from Concord & 9th, to stamp the pattern on my card stock. I stamped one way, then turned the card stock to stamp again and create a plaid pattern. The jump rings and heart elements were cut from the copper foil paper from the Neutrals Foil Pack.
For the second purse, I stamped the base card stock with the Berries Turnabout from the Holly Berry Turnabout Stamp Set. The jump rings on the purse were cut from the gold foil paper from the Neutrals Foil Pack. I custom dyed a bit of twine to match the card stock, using a reinker, for the tassel element.
For this card, I stamped the encircled heart stamp on the background of the card front, semi-randomly. I stamped the sentiment in the upper corner, and created the purse using the silver foil from the Neutrals Foil Pack for the metallic elements. Before assembling the purse front, the pale rose card stock was embossed with a scalloped embossing folder. I adhered the purse to the card front with White Liner along the bottom and up the two sides. This left a pocket to include a gift card as part of the card.
