Hello!
I went into my craft room, earlier this week, because I wanted to play a little with the Buds & Blossoms Stamp Set from Concord & 9th. The set has this fun bursting flower in it, that reminded me of a shirt hanging in my closet, and I wanted to try to recreate the fabric pattern on paper. I wound up loving the color palette, so I continued creating using the stamp set and colors. The result was the three cards I'm sharing with you today.
Just a note: I used the ink cubes from Concord & 9th in this project, however, in the supply list below the post, I've also linked the full sized pads - everyone has a different preference and different storage abilities - I wanted to give you the option if you prefer larger ink pads.
Card #1 | Hello Friend
I stamped, and white heat embossed the sentiment, using Versamark Ink on Midnight Card Stock. I then matted the floral panel using the same card stock, and adhered my layers together, before adding them to a white card base. A few drops of Glossy White Nuvo Drops completed the card.

Card #2 | Your Kindness Matters
To begin this card, I started with a piece of A2 sized white card stock. Using my MISTI (with the LEFT and BOTTOM edges of the card stock in the corner), I stamped the "Your Kindness Matters" sentiment from the Buds & Blossoms Stamp Set , in Black Amalgam Ink. Once that was stamped, I took my card stock out, and trimmed the tiniest sliver off of the left and bottom edges (1/16" or less), put my card stock back in, and then stamped the sentiment again in Versamark Ink, and gold heat embossed the second stamping. Once that was done, I again trimmed the card front, so that it was 4"x 5-1/4" in size (trim the left and bottom edges first, so that 1/8" is taken off in total - including the previous cuts - then trim 1/8" off the right and top edges).
Then, I stamped my floral images along the top and bottom edges, again using Grapefruit Ink Cube, Sorbet Ink Cube, Aqua Sky Ink Cube, and Midnight Ink Cube. Once the panel was stamped, I adhered the card front to a white card base, and added Glossy White Nuvo Drops in the "empty" spaces along the edges of the flower borders.
Card #3 | You're So Sweet
Again, I began with a white panel of card stock, I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Buds & Blossoms Stamp Set using the Midnight Ink Cube. Then, I stamped the small heart cluster around it, using the Grapefruit Ink Cube. Finally, I stamped the larger heart image using the Aqua Sky Ink Cube. I then trimmed the panel down to 3-3/4"x5".
On a small strip of Midnight Card Stock, I stamped the "You're so Sweet" sentiment, in Versamark Ink, and white heat embossed it. I added that to my card front with some foam tape.
I offset the card front on a piece of Sorbet Card Stock, cut to 3-7/8"x5-1/8". Then I added that to a white card base - again slightly offset. Finally, I added some Glossy White Nuvo Drops, so finish the card.
