Pink Poinsettia Tag | Part of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Event

Hello!

Today, I'm sharing a tag I created for the 10th Annual  25 Days of Christmas Tags Event.  Today is sponsored by Picket Fence Studios.  

I began my tag, by stamping the Christmas Poinsettia Star image in Versamark Ink, onto Pale Rose Card Stock, and heat embossing it in Gold Embossing Powder.  I then colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils.  Once I was happy with the pencil coloring, I added a few highlights with a White Gel Pen.   Using a Circle Die, I rounded out the top of the tag, and used a Press Punch  to add the hole for some tulle and twine.  

I stamped and gold heat embossed the sentiment from the Fancy Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set, onto Rustic Rose Card Stock.  Then, I fussy cut around the sentiment, and applied foam tape to the back.  I layered the sentiment over the top of a strip of Mirror Gold, and Black Licorice Card Stocks,  and added it to the bottom of the tag. 

I completed the tag with just a few Moonshine Sequins added with a bit of liquid glue.
