It's the 14th of the month, and that means it is time for another new release from Picket Fence Studios! I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring new products from the release.
The first card features the new Leo Girl Stamp image. Leo is the final stamp set in the Horoscope Girls line. I stamped her in a light ink, and then colored her in with my Polychromos pencils. Then I die cut her using the coordinating die.
And that's it for today. Again, you can find the full release in the shop now, and I'll be sharing more cards using items from today's release, throughout the month. Join me in the Facebook Community Group - on Tuesday at 6 PM, CDT - to watch me recreate the Leo Girl card live.

To create the background, I layered the Slim Line Ocean Stencil, over white card stock. I inked it first with Wild Honey Distress Oxide Ink - moving the stencil to fill the whole A2 panel - then layered Spiced Marmalade over that, and finally added a layer of Crackling Campfire. I then added a thin layer of the new Golden Sparkle Paper Glitz as a final layer. I set that aside to dry, while I heat embossed a sentiment from the All Those Birthday Candles Stamp set, in white onto red card stock.
I adhered the pieces together, and put them onto the now dry card front. I attached that to a white card base, and added a few sequins from the Autumn Breeze Sequin Mix to the card to finish it.
For my second card, I began stamping the new Flamingo Boogie Repeating Stamp, onto seafoam card stock, using Versamark. I heat embossed the sea of Flamingos in rose gold, and then added some color with my Polychromos pencils, and a black ink pen.
I took a strip of dark green card stock, and layered the Tropical Leaves A2 Stencil over the top. I inked it with the coordinating green ink. Then I layered it under the flamingo panel, with a small strip of rose gold glitter paper in between.
Using a circle die from the Scallop Frame Die Set,. I die cut the circle from the completed panel, as well as cut the frame from the rose gold glitter paper. While I had the die machine out, I die cut a panel of the Extra Wide Foam Tape with the circle in the same place. Then I die cut the Happy Day Word Topper Die from both the dark green card stock I used earlier, and a copper card stock. I layered them together, and then trimmed the banner portion, so it showed more of the flamingos.
I added acetate to the back of the main card panel, before adding the panel of foam tape. I adhered the glitter circle frame to the front. The I glued the circle panel that was die cut from the card front, to a slightly larger piece of scrap card stock. I added a couple generous pinches of the Blue Flamingo Mambo Sequin Mix on top of the circle, then carefully laid the card front over the top (this allowed me to ensure the panel matched up with the card front, and that everything was straight). Then, I finally adhered the card panel to a white card base.
